A day late, but as Promised: Guide to Adding Airplanes to FSX

NOTE! Your aircraft may or may not be the Harrier FSX. This is just the aircraft I'm using for the guide. Installing any other aircraft follows closely to this guide.

After your download has finished you'll get a screen with the aircraft on it.


Double Click on My Computer


Double Click Your local Drive


Double Click Program Files


Find and Double Click Microsoft Games


Double Click Microsoft Flight Simulator X


Double Click Sim Objects


Now, bring up your downloaded window (Please don't mind the IrfanView files in there). And right click on the aircraft folder and select COPY


Go back to your SimObjects folder and right click on Airplanes and Select PASTE


That's it!


If there is any effect folder place the contents of it !NOT THE FOLDER ITSELF! inside the EFFECTS folder in your main FSX folder. Gauges go in gauges, flights go in flights, etc..etc..
